Thank you for taking time to view my website. Everywhere I look I see a photo opportunity! My site changes frequently, so please check back often. I am proud to announce that I am now an Award Winning Photographer. Please page down to read more!
I continue to travel and learn. Whether around the San Francisco Bay Area or beyond, wherever I am shooting I come away with more knowledge and beautiful images. I hope you'll agree!
Several of my images (printed on canvas) adorn the walls at Baywood Court in Castro Valley. In addition, I am printing on metal which has been very popular. For me, metal can enhance the visual experience 10 fold.
I have updated my galleries to include my trip last fall to Europe and my most recent weekend trip to Yosemite. We had blue skies and sun on Friday, blue skies and clouds (my favorite) on Saturday and fog, wind and occasional rain on Sunday. Check out my Yosemite National Park gallery for the latest images.
I was part of Photo Central's 30th Anniversary Spring Show http://photocentral.org/Spring2013/. Their electronic announcement featured my "Open for Business" photo of the Tower Bridge in London (see my Europe 2012 Gallery to view the photo). In addition the image was awarded an AWARD of EXCELLENCE and it also garnered one of the coveted "People's Choice" Awards. Only seven were given. More than 70 artists participated presenting more than 160 images!
Recently I had an opportunity to go with a photo group to Kirby Cove North and West of the Golden Gate Bridge. Please go to my San Francisco Bay Area gallery to see a couple of the photos from that night. The aim was to get the full moon coming up over the Golden Gate Bridge; the fog had other plans! Still a beautiful evening all in all.
Always looking ahead, I am planning on adding photos of the new lights that adorn the Bay Bridge as well as adding images of the spring flowers that are already popping up all around. I will be participating in a Panorama workshop this summer and lastly, the year won't go fast enough as I am going to Tanzania on a photography workshop with 11 other photographers in December. Life just can't get any better!
